Tomorrow it is back to work and today I was just relaxing and having a quiet time by myself, drawing and playing video games and watching other people play video games.
The other day I did a few landscape studies, because I really want to get better at this. At first I was just using regular random landscapes from google images, but I moved to screenshots from Horizon Zero: Dawn.
Today, I transformed a photo of the corridor of my apartment building, and I tried to make it look…post apocalyptic…or so? I’ve never done this, but it was great fun and I want to make a different variation of this same photo.
I only used the photo on the left and the pencil tool in CLIP STUDIO PAINT and I tried to draw all the changes only with what I had. I obviously cut our the doors and placed them differently. When I was done, I thought that I might need to add some rubble, like it would have fallen from the roof and all, but I thought about it too late. I’ll try to do that another time. It’s still very rough and all…but it was really fun…
Oh on and on a last note, I finally updated the “Embers to Stars” gallery with the proper sketch pictures. They are → HERE
So that was that…
On a random note, I am finally working on finishing my play through of Alien: Isolation. I love this game so much and I just did the space walk and it was sooooooooo amazing. It’s such a great game, but IT STRESSES ME OUT TO NO END!! I had to try the nest level a few times, but luckily this time I didn’t die once, but my hands were shaking so much after that. It’s such a gross level, so scary. Oh well…I hope I can finish that soon. I owe it to the game.
The art book is amazing, too and I want to use that for some design stuff…
Oh and I started watching a let’s play of “The Last of Us”, after the bf played it and I just wanted to look at it consecutively. That one was also looks amazing. It’s strange that PS3 games had so much ambition with graphics and all…. I think the above image did inspire that.
So then, until next time. ^^)
